A 48-year-old man was on Tuesday found guilty in the north of having fatally stabbed 40-year-old Vietnamese national Dam Thi Hop 33 times.
Hop’s decomposing body was found wrapped in a carpet and blankets on January 6, 2019 in a wooden area near the road linking the north’s Ercan (Tymbou) airport and the nearby village of Afania, almost a year and a half after she had first been reported missing
