Further measures to improve the Pomos fishing shelter were announced by Agriculture Minister Maria Panayiotou during a visit on Monday.
Panayiotou said that several measures were being planned to upgrade Pomos including deepening the harbour, modifying the entrance and improving mooring points.
The upgrades come after experts and local authorities, including the mayor of Polis Chrysochous, Yiotis Papachristofi, and the deputy mayor of Pomos, Andreas Dionysiou, called for the shelter
