Police on Thursday arrested three persons in connection with the suspected falsification of contracts for football players.
The three suspects – aged 58, 57 and 44 – later appeared before Famagusta district court, which approved the police request that they be remanded in custody for eight days .
The forged contracts are said to be related to two footballers.
