Authorities on Monday are scrambling to assess whether is it possible to repair damage to the Mavrokolymbos reservoir in Paphos, after the detection of a huge water leak, which the distrcit administration head described as “catastrophic.”
An estimated twenty thousand tonnes of water are being lost hourly from the dam, officials reported.
