All pending student grants for the 2023-24 academic year will be paid by next week, the welfare benefits and grants service said on Thursday.
The grants cover a living allowance, first year student allowance, food allowance and air fare allowance.
The value of the grant given is dependent on the family’s income as it the possible additional allowance given to some students.
