Over 2,600 traffic violations were recorded nationwide during traffic stops last week, police said on Tuesday.
The were offences clocked outside of the automated traffic cameras system.
According to police, between December 2 and 6, some 777 drivers were booked for speeding, 202 for using a mobile phone while driving and 201 for failing to use seat belts either the driver or passengers. Nine motorcyclists were booked for failure to
