The 2024 FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Championships , one of the most prestigious chess events in the world, will debut in New York City’s financial district on December 26. This year, the historic tournament brings together the world’s top chess players on Wall Street, a symbolic location synonymous with strategy and risk, qualities that are present both in the game of chess and the world of finance.
