Crews had been working to restore power through medium voltage cables in individual properties in Sotira, Frenaros and Ayia Napa since early morning, the electricity authority (EAC) said on Wednesday.
Tuesday’s weather phenomena had caused a number of minor problems throughout the island, most of which were dealt with , EAC spokeswoman Christina Papadopoulou told the CyBC.
