Seven people were arrested in Limassol on Tuesday on suspicion of an attempted murder on Monday in Nicosia .
Nicosia and Limassol police carried out a coordinated operation in which the seven were identified and arrested.
The suspects are due to be presented at Nicosia court on Wednesday for a detention order.
The suspects are thought to belong to two different groups from Nicosia and Limassol .
