A car owned by a 62-year-old man in Xylotymbou suffered extensive damage from a fire that broke out in the early hours on Friday.
According to the police, the fire service responded shortly after 3am to out out the fire in the vehicle which was parked outside the owner’s house.
Attempts had initially been made to extinguish the fire with a water hose before the Dhekelia fire fighters arrived.
